Open studios at Macedon

At this lovely time of the year, when Macedon is full of colour, the artists of Open Studios Macedon will be opening their doors to welcome members of the public over the weekend of April 23-24.

Having had a successful year of the program in 2021, the nine participating artists look forward to once again sharing their diverse spaces and processes with interested visitors.

The variety of work on view includes pottery, painting (in a range of styles and media), drawing and portraiture, printmaking, photography and textiles.

As well as appreciating the artwork visitors are invited to discuss and experience the artists’ individual ways of working and creating.

With a great range of original work being for sale, you may well be tempted to buy a piece for yourself or for giving as a present.

With all the studios being in easy reach of one another, and located in their own unique garden settings, you can take in the beautiful autumnal environment as you move around.

There are also a number of cafes throughout the area giving visitors a chance to enjoy some refreshment and relax.

Altogether, this is an opportunity for a stimulating and enriching leisure experience.
