IT’S ELF-FICIAL!

Recruits will learn how to care for reindeer.

Mark your advent calendars and set your jingle bell alarms, Santa Claus is enroute to Bendigo! Elf Academy is returning to Central Deborah Gold Mine from December 19-23, with tickets now on sale via central-deborah.com.

To mark Santa’s arrival, the surface of Central Deborah Gold Mine will be transformed into an enchanted Christmas wonderland where carols, reindeers, candy canes and baubles are all the norm!

Elf Academy is a prestigious training facility designed especially for Santa’s little helpers, providing them with the skills required to join Santa’s renowned team as a qualified elf, graduating with a Certificate IV in Elf Training.

Through a series of craft activities, games and challenges, recruits will discover their own elf name, learn how to care for reindeer, paint an ornament worthy of hanging on any tree, create wrapping paper and Christmas cards, prepare reindeer food, stack presents as high as the clouds, search for candy canes, and most importantly, prepare Santa for his around the world trip!

“New activities have been added, and extra magic has been sprinkled into the curriculum, ensuring this year will be bigger and better than ever,” said Tynille Thurlow, general manager of tourism and marketing.

Cheekiness, laughter and rainbow treats are all part of the fun, and it wouldn’t be complete without a visit from Mr Claus himself!

To capture the important milestone, professional Santa photography will also be available. Bookings will be essential as photography spaces are limited.
