This time last year Matt Bender nominated Olivia Pinnock for Melbourne Victory’s pre-academy trials, with six months of soccer under her belt she attended and had a blast.
Much to her delighted, Olivia was selected for phase one of pre-academy trials and now Macedon Rangers Soccer Club is proud to announce that Olivia has been selected for phase two!
Matt, a Melbourne Victory supporter, said he was so proud to hear Olivia made the second phase of PAC.
“Her attitude towards her games and training come as no surprise that she has advanced. Hard work does pay off and she has shown that hands down,” he said.
Club president Charles Bender also congratulated Olivia and the others who were nominated by the club last year that also made it through to the second phase.
With trials currently under way for new entrants to Melbourne Victory’s pre-academy, MRSC is sure that others will follow in Olivia’s footsteps.
At 10 years of age, her dedication, determination and sacrifices are well beyond her years and most importantly she is having so much fun.
