Romsey Football Netball Club’s special 150th celebration function was a sell out on Saturday.
There were about 130 seated at the official luncheon, and long-serving Redbacks’ secretary Joanne Carroll said later the celebration had gone well.
President Wayne Milburn welcomed all to the special function, and specially thanked chief organiser Lindy Skinner for her research and expertise in bringing the day together.
The RFNC has a proud history, and the committee is excited and proud to be celebrating its 150 years of existence as a club.
Acknowledgement was made of all past and present players, coaches, committee and supporters going back generations.
Special guest speakers added to the atmosphere.
A variety of old memorabilia and photographs attracted considerable interest.
Lancefield Football Netball Club was thanked for support and participation.
Celebrations went on until well into the evening.
