Kyneton Cricket Club will be hosting the final round of the Central Highlands Wendy Gray Shield this Sunday.
The Under 14 girls competition sees players from right across central Victoria representing Castlemaine, Gisborne and Maryborough Cricket Associations fighting for the prestigious title.
Heading into day two, Gisborne White is currently undefeated, followed by Gisborne Green, Castlemaine and Maryborough.
With the final pool match seeing Gisborne White play Castlemaine at the Kyneton Showgrounds Lower Oval and Gisborne Green hosting Maryborough at the Kyneton Showgrounds Top Oval, the finalists are yet to be decided.
So if you have a daughter interested in cricket, go along to the Kyneton Showgrounds at 10am on Sunday for round three or at 2pm for the finals.
Maybe you might just see the next Meg Lanning, Elyse Perry, Annabel Sutherland or Pheobe Litchfield strutting their stuff.
Players from this competition will be eligible for selected next summer for the Central Highlands team to participate in the Cricket Victoria Country Cup.
