The new-look Central Victorian Rangers Baseball Club held its first ‘Come and Try Day’ this month at their new home at the Elphinstone Recreation Reserve.

If you have ever thought about trying your hand at baseball this is your golden opportunity!

Another event will be held this Sunday March 2 at 10am at their new home at Olivers Lane, Elphinstone.

CV Rangers (formerly the Malmsbury Rangers BC) are looking to field four teams in this year’s Bendigo Baseball Association winter season.

They are seeking players of all ages and genders as they are hoping to field two junior and two senior teams in 2025.

CV Rangers member Rhiana Harrington said they were also on the lookout for supporters, officials, coaches, sponsors and volunteers.

“Our club has been established on the grounds of community pride. Rangers is a non-segregated club that is inclusive for all. We aim to provide opportunities for everyone in our community to participate in healthy, safe, and inclusive baseball activities in a fun and family orientated environment,” Rhiana said.
