Castlemaine District Cricket Association senior competition resumed last Saturday.
The competition was delayed for a week after play was cancelled the previous week due to the devastating Harcourt fire.
Cricketers contested a modified fixture with A Grade playing a one-day match instead of the fixtured two-day clash, and the previous week’s A Reserve fixture was deemed a draw for all matches. A Reserve sides played round 11 as scheduled on Saturday.
B Grade also resumed on Saturday January 17.
The Women’s comp returns on January 30 and C Grade (Under 16) competition on January 31.
Highlights of the round were Hepburn batsman Ashley Lovick’s 104 not out with the bat and Newstead A Grader Matthew Culvenor’s 5-22 with the ball.
