The Castlemaine District Cricket Association 2026-2027 season continues to ramp up with A Grade contesting round two on Saturday, A Res sides battling it out in round one, and Castlemaine and Harcourt’s B Grade sides enjoying a showdown at the Camp Reserve.
C Grade (Under 16) sides also returned to the pitch with a round of one day matches. The remainder of the A Res Div 2 fixture and B Grade sides commence their seasons this Saturday, and the Women will return for round two on Friday evening.
Highlights of the round were Castlemaine United B Grade batsman Will Penrose’s 115 not out with the bat, and Muckleford C Grader Zavier Turner’s 5-6 with the ball.
