Are you interested in learning how to sail and would like to be part of a friendly, welcoming sailing community?

Cairn Curran Sailing Club is thrilled to have received funding to provide two introductory sailing days, with free lunch included. Experienced members will be on hand to introduce women and girls to sailing dinghies in a safe, calm environment at Cairn Curran Reservoir, Baringhup. Learn the basics of rigging a dinghy and head out for a sail with experienced club members to show you the ropes. Rescue boats will be on hand to guide you and help you learn.

The club will provide experienced instructors, safety equipment (PFDs and helmets), sailing dinghies, and safety boat supervision on water. Afterwards share your experiences over a delicious free lunch in the beautiful club lounge overlooking the water and explore the next steps in your sailing journey. You can chat to friendly members and find out about membership. All you need to bring is your sense of adventure and willingness to give it a go!
