Chandpara Southdown Stud enjoyed success at the Victorian Sheep Show, held at Ballarat Showgrounds last month.
The Tylden stud won every yearling ram class. The winner of the woolly ram class then went on to win the Champion Southdown Ram sash.
Not content with that victory, his next achievement was the Champion Interbreed Shortwool Ram. He then defeated the Champion Longwool Ram to be crowned the Supreme Sheep of the Show.
Stud principal Andrew Sellars-Jones said the ram, who was only 11 months old, ticked all the boxes.
“He is balanced, has great carcass attributes and a real sire presence about him,” Mr Sellars-Jones said.
“It was only his second show outing but he seemed to relish the attention and loved being out in the ring.”
The ram was used as a stud sire over some selected ewes in February, with lambs due late July.
Mr Sellars-Jones is hoping they’ll possess some of his excellent traits.
