After three days of thrilling soccer this weekend, Goldfields United – a representative female soccer team of the Castlemaine and Bendigo region – remained undefeated in the Western United Cup in Ballarat, winning all of their group and knockout stage matches (without conceding a single goal) against many of the top clubs in Victoria.
They went on to beat Melbourne City FC in the U14 grand final, winning 1-0.
