On December 20, 1876, the first ever bowl was rolled at the Kyneton Bowling Club. That single delivery marked the beginning of a proud tradition that has made the club one of Victoria’s most enduring sporting institutions.
Now in 2026, 150 years after that first bowl was rolled, the Kyneton Bowling Club looks confidently to the future – proud of its past and committed to ensuring future generations enjoy the welcoming spirit that has been its hallmark since its inception.
To celebrate this momentous milestone, the club will be hosting a major celebration evening on Saturday November 21 to commemorate this achievement and recognise the generations of members, supporters, sponsors and friends who have contributed to the club’s proud history.
The night will be hosted by none other than Brian ‘BT’ Taylor, featuring a two-course dinner, raffles, auctions, guest speakers including Kyneton’s own Australian representative Chloe Stewart, and if that wasn’t enough, music by The Party Animals to have guests dancing long into the night.
Tickets are $75 per person, and it is recommended that you confirm your booking as soon as possible to secure your seat, as the event is expected to reach capacity well before the night. Club members welcome all from the Kyneton and wider community to join them for what will be a night not to be missed.
