VGR volunteers – president Steve Strangward, Addison Chapman, Rolf Jinks, Will Maylor and John Shaw – pictured earlier this year dismantling the disused Castlemaine-Guildford rail line for recycling on the VGR tourist line upgrade. It's expected trainees will soon be gaining similar hands-on experience as part of a new Certificate II in Rail Infrastructure training pilot.
